About Us
Introduction
The MBA graduates of the University of Strathclyde Business School, Zurich Centre, founded the Strathclyde MBA Alumni Association Switzerland, SMAAS, in 2001. The Swiss centre ran from 1996 through to 2022. Since 2016 the Swiss centre along with the Glasgow Alumni Office opened the doors to all Strathclyde University graduates who are resident in Switzerland and are thus part of Strathclyde's worldwide Alumni Association. Today, we are named "Strathclyde Alumni Association of Switzerland", SAAS.
Our Mission
The Strathclyde Alumni Association Switzerland pursues idealistic purposes and it is politically and denominationally neutral.

Activities
We aim to achieve our goals and objectives:
- through regular meetings (e.g. favourite haunt, events),
- by participating in activities,
- by applied projects,
- by MBA-project support,
- by maintaining contacts with the Glasgow Alumni Office
- by contributing to bulletins, newspapers, special publications, etc.,
- by organising events in the wider context of the alumni club, e.g. lectures, panel discussions, and information events,
- by organizing events of a private nature to foster personal contacts amongst the members,
- by publishing a Who's Who about all members of the alumni club as a networking instrument,
- by fostering and maintaining contacts to other alumni organisations and Universities
